This brownfield site was purchased by our client with a consent for 9 apartments. We subsequently achieved planning consent for a contemporary, four storey residential redevelopment of 24 apartments. The approved development is for two linked residential blocks set within a heavily wooded and sloping site, with under croft parking.

The planning process included establishing the loss of the vacant care home, designing within a large number of mature trees and sensitive local community. The affordable housing contribution was reduced due to a successful argument to utilise the Vacant Building Credit.
